Checking the Mounting and Connection Work

Qualified person

Before commissioning or during setup, perform a thorough check of all mounting and connection work. The basis for the check is DIN VDE 0100-600.

Procedure:

  1. Ensure that the inverter has been correctly mounted and connected.
  2. Ensure that the battery has been correctly mounted and connected. In particular, ensure adherence to the requirements for the installation site and the local fire protection regulations.
  3. If there is more than one battery cabinet: Ensure that the supplied DC distributor has been correctly mounted and connected.
  4. If there is more than one battery cabinet: Ensure that the address and terminator has been correctly set on the battery management system of each battery cabinet.
  5. Ensure that the supplied energy meter has been correctly mounted and connected (see manual for the energy meter).
  6. Measure the ground resistance and continuity of the grounding conductor.
  7. Measure the insulation resistance.
  8. Check the polarity between the inverter and battery.
  9. Ensure that the circuit breaker of the DC distributor is switched on.
