Restarting the Battery via the Battery Monitoring Software

BatMon - Battery Monitoring Software

BatMon is battery monitoring software that is used to analyze and visualize the battery down to the cell level.

The battery monitoring software and the user manual for the battery monitoring software are available in the SMA Commercial Storage Solution download area at www.SMA-Solar.com.

Requirements:

  • A mobile end device (e.g., laptop) must be available.

  • The BatMon battery monitoring software must be installed on this mobile end device.

  • The mobile end device must be connected to the battery management system in the primary or in the individual battery cabinet.

  • The battery monitoring software must be open and you must be logged in with installer rights at a minimum.

Procedure:

  1. Stop the inverter.
  2. Select Parameter > Reset APU.
  3. Follow the steps in the battery monitoring software.
  4. The battery monitoring software restarts the battery.
  5. Start the inverter.
