Fan Control based on the Battery Module Operating Temperature

Each battery module has multiple temperature sensors, which permanently monitor the battery module temperature. The battery module fan starts and stops as a function of the measured temperatures:

• The fan in the battery module switches on above an operating temperature of 33°C.

• The fan in the battery module switches off above an operating temperature of 31°C.¹⁾

The temperatures in the battery modules are highly dependent on the ambient temperature.

¹⁾ From firmware version ≥ 55.20.00. With a firmware version <55.20.00, the fan in the battery module switches off at an operating temperature of 29°C.
