Opening the Battery Management System (APU) and Reading the Micro SD Memory Card

  1. Undo the 8 hexagon socket screws (3 mm) on the upper APU cover and tilt the APU cover that is connected to the ground strap to the side.
  2. Press on the micro SD memory card on the printed circuit board behind the APU display until the ejection mechanism triggers.
  3. Remove the micro SD memory card and copy its contents to a PC.
  4. Then plug the micro SD memory card back in and push on the card until the locking mechanism actuates.
  5. Close the cover of the APU and tighten the 8 hexagon socket screws (3 mm) with a tightening torque of 3 Nm.
