Cleaning and Maintaining the Battery Cabinet


Qualified person

  1. Disconnect the battery and inverter from voltage sources Disconnecting from voltage sources).
  2. Ensure that the front of the battery cabinet is not obstructed.
  3. Ensure that the ventilation slots in the battery cabinet are unobstructed.
  4. Check the battery cabinet enclosure for any damage such as scratches, dents, or corrosion damage.
  5. If the battery cabinet enclosure exhibits damage, contact Service.
  6. Spray all moving parts of the latch with a suitable, water-free lubricant.
  7. Spray all moving parts of the door hinges with a suitable, water-free lubricant.
  8. Ensure that the battery cabinet ground is firmly tightened (hexagon socket, AF13, tightening torque: 8 Nm).
  9. Document all inspection results.
