Installing an Additional Battery Module
Qualified person
Additional battery modules may only be installed in this battery cabinet within six months after its initial commissioning.
Procedure:
- By measuring the voltage at -POL and +POL, verify whether the DC output voltage of each new battery module is between 78.4 V and 78.6 V.
- If the DC output voltage of a new battery module is outside the 78.4 V to 78.6 V range, contact Service.
- By measuring the voltage at Charger+ and Charger-, verify whether the DC output voltage of each installed battery cabinet is in the specified range.
- If the DC output voltage of an installed battery cabinet is not in the specified range, contact Service.
- Increase the state of charge of the battery cabinets already installed to 20%. To do this, charge or discharge the battery.
- Disconnect the battery and battery inverter from voltage sources ( > Disconnecting from voltage sources).
- Mount additional battery modules in the battery cabinet.
- For the additional battery modules, connect the DC cables within the battery cabinet.
- For the additional battery modules, connect the communication cables within the battery cabinet.
- Recommission the individual battery cabinets.
- Commission the inverter.
- Reconfigure the inverter.
