DC cable requirements

• Aluminum or copper wires must be used.

• The DC cables must be rated for the maximum battery voltage and the maximum battery current.

• The conductor cross-section that can be connected and the outer diameter of the lines must meet the requirements of the respective connection.

• The DC lines must be equipped with suitable terminal lugs made of tin-plated copper for the DC connection in the inverter. ( > Conductor Cross-Sections and Outer Diameters for DC Lines)
