Storing the Battery

Qualified person

  1. Store the battery modules in the permitted storage positions only.
  2. Ensure that the climatic conditions for storing the battery are safely observed for the entire storage duration. Evidence that the storage conditions have been observed must be provided using suitable means.
  3. Have the battery cycled six months after manufacture at the latest.
  4. Before commissioning, check whether the battery is deeply discharged. Note the deep discharge protection limits.
  5. If the battery is deeply discharged, contact Service.
