Designation of the strings

For all design suggestions, the individual PV modules are connected to form strings and assigned to system sections. The preferred string alignment and starting point can be selected in the String design gewählt dialog. In the process, a unique designation is assigned to each individual PV module. The string designation is assigned automatically in accordance with the selection in the settings:

• Inverter.String.Module: The string designation refers to the inverter that the strings are connected to (e.g. 1A.1.3: at inverter 1 at input A on string 1 the 3rd module).

• Roof.String.Module: The string designation refers to the roof area on which the strings are located (e.g. 2.2.3: on roof area 2 on string 2 the 3rd module).

System sections are created if necessary. System sections can contain multiple inverters of the same type with the same configuration. The results of the design are shown in the right-hand section of the user interface.
