Parameters for the "Multiuse" function

The "multi-use" function can be defined with the following settings:

Parameter

Description

Purchased energy limit

Definition of the maximum power that may be obtained from the utility grid. If this power is exceeded, the battery is discharged to reduce the peak load.
The supply limit can be separately defined for both ranges.

SOC limiting value

Distributing the total capacity of the battery to use "peak shaving" or for increased self-consumption

Hysteresis

Extension of the range for the switching limit defined by the SOC limiting value. This extension is applied symmetrically around the SOC limiting value. A hysteresis of 3% at a SOC limiting value 50% means a switching range of 47% to 53%.
Information: This setting is only possible for Sunny Tripower Storage 60.

Feed-in limit

Definition of the power from which the battery is recharged. This value depends on the peak loads to be expected and must be defined on a project-by-project basis.
Positive values indicate the feed-in power above which the battery is charged.
Negative values indicate a power draw level below which the battery is charged.
The feed-in limit can be separately defined for both ranges.
Information: This setting is only possible for Sunny Tripower Storage 60.

Information: To use the peak load shaving function, a purchasing tariff including peak load prices is necessary.
