Importing Consumption Data from Sunny Portal

You can import consumption data from a PV system of Sunny Portal if you have access to a PV system in Sunny Portal using the e-mail address with which you log into Sunny Design.

Procedure:

  1. In the header, select the menu My Sunny Design > Own load profiles, and in the window Own load profiles, click on the button [Add new load profile].

    In an open project, on the page Define load profile, click on the button [Add new load profile].
  2. The New load profile dialog box will open.
  3. Under Name, enter a name for the load profile.
  4. If required, enter a description for the load profile under Description.
  5. Enter the annual energy consumption in the field Default setting "annual energy consumption".
  6. Select [Consumption data from Sunny Portal].
  7. The Login window will open. Log in using your Sunny Portal access data.
  8. Select the required Sunny Portal system from the drop-down list Sunny Portal system.
  9. Select the time period from which the data is to be imported from the drop-down list Time period. You can chose whether the last twelve months (365 days retroactively from the previous day at 12 p.m.) are to be imported or the entire previous calendar year from January to December.
  10. Select [Import consumption data].
  11. A message confirming that the import was successful will be displayed. The calculated energy consumption per year will be displayed automatically in the field Default setting "annual energy consumption".
  12. If a message is displayed stating that the import failed, it may be that no consumption data or insufficient data is available for the selected Sunny Portal system.
  13. Select a different Sunny Portal system from the drop-down list Sunny Portal system, and then select [Import consumption data].
