Sunny Design Pro: Exporting 3D models

If you have access to Sunny Design Pro, you can export 3D models from the visual roof planning tool in the ".obj" file format. The files will be exported as a ZIP archive.

Prerequisites:

  • You must have opened a project and planned it up to the page Configure system (quick planning) or Configure PV system (detailed planning).

  • You must have opened the visual roof planning tool and defined a building.

Procedure:

  1. In the visual roof planning tool window, click on the button [3D export].
  2. The 3D export dialog box will open.
  3. Via the checkboxes, select whether the 3D model is to be exported with PV modules and with textures.
  4. Select File type from the drop-down list.
  5. Click on [OK].
  • The 3D model will be downloaded to your computer as a ZIP file.
