Recalculating strings

The strings can be recalculated at any time. You can select whether the selected string, current roof area or all roof areas should be recalculated.

Strings must have the right system voltage in order to be connected to the inverter.

Prerequisites:

  • You must have opened a project and planned it up to the page Configure PV system (detailed planning) or Configure system (quick planning).

  • You must have opened the visual roof planning tool.

Procedure:

  1. Select the desired string and click on > .
  2. The String calculation dialog box will open.
  3. Select the strings to be recalculated.
  4. Select the preferred string design and starting point.
  5. Click on [OK].
  • The calculation will be carried out and the result will immediately be shown on the bottom of the screen in the 3D area.
