Quick planning and detailed planning

To configure your project, you can choose between Quick planning and Detailed planning. In the menu My Sunny Design > Settings, you can specify the default planning mode with which each project should be started.

You can use the Quick planning mode for the simplified configuration of components. When you create a new project, you can enter the project data and define the load profile on the Project data page. You can configure PV arrays, PV inverters, battery systems for PV systems with self-consumption as well as energy management in the Quick planning area on the Configure system page. You can switch from quick planning to detailed planning at any time. You will find the button Detailed Planning in the navigation area.

In the detailed planning mode, you can provide all components with detailed information. The load profile, PV systems, cables, self-consumption and energy management can be configured on seperate pages. You can switch to Quick planning as long as no new subproject, alternative or 2nd load profile has been created in Detailed planning, or a heat pump, e-mobility or direct selling have not been selected. You will find the button Detailed Planning in the navigation area.
