Manually connecting PV modules to strings

Prerequisites:

  • You must have opened a project and planned it up to the page Configure PV system (detailed planning) or Configure system (quick planning).

  • You must have opened the visual roof planning tool.

Procedure:

  1. Select the first unconnected PV module of the string. This PV module is automatically assigned to the positive pole and drawing mode is activated.
  2. Select the PV modules to be connected one after the other, and click to add them.
  3. To complete string creation, press Enter or click on [OK].
  4. Alternatively, you can draw the string by clicking and holding the left mouse button. The PV modules will automatically be connected to the string by a mouseover across the middle of the PV module.
  5. When you release the mouse, the string is saved.
  6. To switch the pole assignment to the first and last PV module of the string, click in the menu Edit.
