Defining a driving profile
Prerequisites:
For projects with self-consumption:
You must have opened a project and planned it up to the project page Define load profile.
E-mobility will also be planned in the project. In the E-mobility area, the option Take e-mobility into account is enabled.
For energy system projects:
You must have opened a project and planned it up to the project page Energy system.
E-mobility will also be planned in the project. On the project page Define scenario, the Charging stations option has been enabled in the System components area.
Procedure:
- In projects with self-consumption: On the page Define load profile in the E-mobility area, click on the button next to the desired driving profile.
- The Driving profile dialog box will open.
- In energy system projects: on the page Energy system in the Loads area, click on the Mobility button.
- The Mobility dialog box will open.
- In the Mobility dialog box, click on the button next to the desired driving profile.
- The Driving profile dialog box will open.
- To use an existing standard template, click on [Select template].
- To define a new driving profile, enter the profile name of the new driving profile in the Driving profile field.
- To save an adjusted profile as a template, click on the button [Save as template]. Thus, this profile can be used with other projects.
- Select the corresponding electric vehicle in the Vehicle brand area.
- To define the time window for the different uses of the electric vehicle or charging station, click on the required time window. You can also click on [+ New time period] to define the time window.
- If at least 1 time window is defined for Driving in the usage profile, adjust the data in the field Average mileage per day.
- Click on under Absences to add absences of more than 24 hours or to delete past absences.
- Click on [OK] to save the driving profile.
- To define e-mobility with known usage behavior, select a suitable Charging station from the drop-down list in the E-mobility section.
