Editing the System Configuration


Requirements for displaying this page:

  • At least 1 new device must have been detected in the system.
    In the page and menu selection, an exclamation mark next to the System monitoring menu item indicates that at least 1 new device has been detected in the system.

You do not have to configure a newly detected device immediately, but can do so at a later time.

Configure new device

  1. In the system configuration field, select Set up devices now >>.
  2. You are forwarded to the tab Overview of new devices in the menu Configuration > Device overview Adding or Replacing Devices).
  3. Select the required device. Then, in the Configuration column, select either the to add the new device to the installation or the to add the new device to the installation as a replacement device.
  4. The configuration wizard opens and guides you through the further steps.
  • When all new devices have been configured, the System Configuration field on the System Monitoring tab will no longer be displayed.

When all new devices have been configured, the exclamation mark next to the menu item System Monitoring should also disappear.

Delete unwanted exclamation mark:

If you are bothered by the exclamation mark next to the System monitoring menu item, which is there to remind you of this pending action, you can delete it by going to Configuration > Device overview and removing all newly detected devices that have not yet been configured Adding or Replacing Devices).

If the exclamation mark is still displayed next to the System Monitoring menu item, this indicates that either the data reception or the inverter comparison has a communication problem.
