Testing the Connection to Sunny Portal
The Sunny Home Manager automatically establishes a connection to Sunny Portal.
Requirements:
The Sunny Home Manager must be supplied with voltage.
The Sunny Home Manager must be connected to the router.
DHCP must be active for the router (see router manual). If your router does not support DHCP, you can configure the static network settings on the Sunny Home Manager using the Sunny Home Manager Assistant ( > Using the Sunny Home Manager Assistant in case of network problems).
The display of the LEDs serves as control:
Status display LED | Explanation |
---|---|
Status LED: glowing green | There is in active connection to Sunny Portal and the registration in Sunny Portal has already been executed. |
Status LED: glowing green | The connection to Sunny Portal has been established, but the Sunny Home Manager must still be registered in the portal. |
Status LED: flashing red | The Sunny Home Manager cannot establish the connection to Sunny Portal automatically. |
Procedure:
- Check the status of the LEDs.
- When both the Status and Performance LEDs glow green, you can log in to Sunny Portal with your user data ( > Logging In and Out of Sunny Portal).
- If only the Status LED glows green, but the Performance LED is off, you must first register the Sunny Home Manager in Sunny Portal and can then log in to Sunny Portal with your user data.
- If either the Status LED or the Performance LED flashes red, you must use the Sunny Home Manager Assistant ( > Using the Sunny Home Manager Assistant in case of network problems) to establish communication.
