Adding switchgear and measuring devices
You can add consumption meters, radio-controlled sockets, radiator controllers, I/O systems and inverters with multifunction device to your system in the device overview. The supported products can be found in the technical information "SMA SMART HOME - Compatibility list for the Sunny Home Manager 2.0" at www.SMA-Solar.com.
Detailed information on the configuration of new loads can be found under Load overview and planning ( > Load Overview and Planning).

FRITZ!DECT radio-controlled sockets automatically measure the ambient temperature near the device. The temperature is displayed on the menu page Smart Home > Temperature.
Requirements:
The new device must have been installed in the system and commissioned in accordance with the manufacturer specifications (see manufacturer's manual).
For the Sunny Home Manager this must be set: Data request interval Automatic ( > Setting the Data Request Interval).
The Modbus configuration must have been performed on the Sunny Home Manager for Modbus devices ( > Configuring Modbus Interfaces).
User name and password must be assigned for AVM sockets ( > Configuring AVM FRITZ!Box Smart Home Control).
The Niko Home Control system must be set up for Niko products ( > Configuring Niko Home Control).
Procedure:
- Under Configuration > Device overview select the tab Overview of new devices.
- Select device after preselection via the device filter or in the list and activate via .
- The configuration wizard opens and provides the further procedure step by step.
- Enter the device name. You can also select and edit one of the suggestions displayed.
- Click on [Next].
- In the drop-down list select the Load that is connected to the radio-controlled socket.
If the desired load is not available, select No assignment and then add the new load for this radio-controlled socket later. - Click on [Next].
- A summary of your entries is displayed (see the following example).
- If the data are correct, click on [Finish].
- You are automatically forwarded to the tab New load of the configuration page Load overview and planning to configure the new load.
