Entering the Amount of CO2 Avoided
The CO2 factor indicates how much CO2 is produced for one kilowatt hour of electric current generated in the country. Depending on the technology used and the efficiency, the CO2 factor can vary between the different electric utility companies in the region. You can find out the value of the CO2 factor of the electric current supplied in your region from your electric utility company.
Sunny Portal can use the CO2 factor to calculate how much CO2 was saved due to the power generation of your system.
