Restarting the Sunny Home Manager
A restart of the Sunny Home Manager is only necessary as a result of a corresponding error message ( > Troubleshooting).
Procedure:
- Call up the Properties of the Home Manager under Configuration > Device overview in Sunny Portal.
- Select [Edit] on the device tab.
- Activate the option Complex configuration.
- In the upper text block in the line Product group: click the field --> Restart and in the pop-up window that opens activate the execution via the button [Restart].
- The system reports the successful initiation of the restart. The restart is carried out automatically.
Alternatively, you can also perform a restart directly on the device:
- Hold down the reset button on the Sunny Home Manager with a pointed object until the LEDs stop flashing red (at least 6 seconds).
If you press and hold the reset button for less than 6 seconds, the Sunny Home Manager is reset to default settings and all data stored in the Sunny Home Manager is deleted ( > Resetting the Sunny Home Manager).
- LEDs go out. The status LED then glows red constantly during system startup.
