Integration of heat pump into the energy management

Via the SG Ready interface, it is possible to give the heat pump a switch-on recommendation when sufficient PV energy is available to raise the temperature in the buffer tank.

Switching of heat pump via compatible radio-controlled socket and separate relay

Requirements:

  • The radio-controlled socket must be in operation.

  • The separate relay must accept a 230 VAC input signal.

  • The heat pump must have been installed in the system and commissioned in accordance with the manufacturer specifications.

  • For the Sunny Home Manager this must be set: Data request interval Automatic ( > Setting the Data Request Interval).

General procedure:

  1. Include radio-controlled socket in the system Adding a Radio-Controlled Socket.
  2. Connect the heat pump to the radio-controlled socket and define basic load characteristics ( > Configuring Load Characteristics), including, for example, the correct power consumption ( > Entering the Power Consumption), the minimum running time ( > Entering the Minimum Switch-On and Switch-Off Time) and that the heat pump should only be switched ( > Setting Measuring and Switching of the Assigned Device).
  3. Configure the time period ( > Configuring the Time Period).

  • The compatible relay must have been installed in the system and commissioned in accordance with the manufacturer specifications.

  • The heat pump must have been installed in the system and commissioned in accordance with the manufacturer specifications.

  • For the Sunny Home Manager this must be set: Data request interval Automatic ( > Setting the Data Request Interval).

General procedure:

  1. Including the compatible relay into the system
    e.g. for a Modbus device: Set up Modbus connection ( > Configuring Modbus Interfaces) and include Modbus device in the system Adding Modbus Device.
  2. Connect the heat pump to the compatible relay and define basic load characteristics ( > Configuring Load Characteristics), including, for example, the correct power consumption ( > Entering the Power Consumption), the minimum running time ( > Entering the Minimum Switch-On and Switch-Off Time) and that the heat pump should only be switched ( > Setting Measuring and Switching of the Assigned Device).
  3. Configure the time period ( > Configuring the Time Period).
