SMA PUK2.0

The PUK (Personal Unlocking Key) is a security code. It is used to reset lost or forgotten passwords for digital devices. The PUK security feature protects against unauthorized access. If passwords and/or product keys are no longer available, there are two procedures depending on the firmware version:

  • For PUK for products with firmware version < 2.5.x.R via the Online Service Center

  • For PUK2.0 on products with firmware version ≥ 2.5.x.R via the product user interface
