Disconnecting the product from voltage sources

Qualified person

Prior to performing any work on the product, always disconnect it from all voltage sources as described in this section. Always adhere to the prescribed sequence.

WARNING

Danger to life due to electric shock from destruction of the measuring device due to overvoltage

Overvoltage can damage a measuring device and result in voltage being present in the enclosure of the measuring device. Touching the live enclosure of the measuring device results in death or lethal injuries due to electric shock.

  1. Only use measuring devices with measurement ranges designed for the maximum AC voltage of the charging station.

Procedure:

  1. Disconnect the AC miniature circuit breaker and secure against reconnection.
  2. If the multifunction relay is used, switch off any supply voltage to the load.
  3. Switch off the supply voltage of the digital signal sources if necessary.
  4. Remove any charging cable that may be connected.
  5. Wait until the LEDs have gone out.

  7. Unscrew the two socket head cap screws (M5 x 8) of the housing cover (TX25).

  9. Release the locking tabs at the top of the cover of the enclosure with a suitable tool (<Ø 5mm) .

  11. Tilt the cover forward to an angle of about 70° and then carefully pull upwards to remove it.
  12. Set the screws and the enclosure lid aside and store safely.

  14. Check that there is no voltage between L1 and N, L2 and N, and L3 and N at the AC terminal block for connecting the utility grid. Use a suitable measuring device for this purpose. To do this, insert the test probes through the openings on the terminal block.

  16. Check that there is no voltage between L1 and grounding conductor, L2 and grounding conductor, and L3 and grounding conductor at the AC terminal block for connecting the utility grid. Use a suitable measuring device for this purpose.
