Configuring controllable loads as per Section 14a of EnWG (German Energy Act) via Sunny Home Manager 2.0

The system can implement requirements in accordance with the determination procedure of the Federal Network Agency for the integration of controllable consumption devices and controllable grid connections pursuant to Section 14a of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG).

Implementation is carried out using a smart meter gateway SMGW with a connected CLS adapter (FNN control box), which transfers control to the PV system.

Procedure:

  1. Under [Configuration], open [Grid management services] and go to Load control as per Section 14a of EnWG (German Energy Act).
  2. Activate Implement grid operator requirements and then select [Save].
  3. The load control as per Section 14a of EnWG (German Energy Act) is activated.
  4. Select [Connecting the FNN control box].
  5. After establishing communication with the Sunny Home Manager 2.0, it is in coupling mode.
  6. Couple the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 with the FNN control box as per the manufacturer specifications. You have 2 minutes to do this. The SKI identification of the Sunny Home Manager 2.0 is displayed.
