Procedure for commissioning as System Manager

For systems with more than four Sunny Tripower Storage X systems, make an appointment for a CMV measurement. Contact the Service.

CMV Measurement

Check that all installed components have been correctly mounted and connected.

Checking the Mounting and Connection Work

Commission all SMA Speedwire devices that are to be subordinate to the System Manager (e.g., energy meters, inverters).

Manuals for the devices

Commission the battery. Here, a distinction is made between a single battery cabinet and multiple battery cabinets.

Commission the inverter that is to be configured as the System Manager.

Establish a connection to the user interface of the inverter. There are various connection options to choose from for this:

• Connection in the local network

• Connection via Wi-Fi

Connecting to the Inverter User Interface

If required, change the network configuration on the welcome page.

Commissioning wizard

Carry out the configuration using the commissioning wizard. Select inverter as System Manager in the device configuration.

Commissioning Assistant

Make further settings if necessary:

• Administrator registration

• Device configuration (device name, device function)

• Adding devices (e.g., energy meter, PV inverter)

• Country standard

• Meter at the point of interconnection

• Battery configuration

• Energy management

• grid management services

• Digital input

To monitor the PV system and visualize the PV system data, register in the Sunny Portal and create the system in Sunny Portal or add devices to an existing system.
