Setting the Subordinate Device (Slave) for Load Management

Requirements:

  • The user interface must be open and you must be logged in.

Procedure:

  1. In the navigation area, select [Load management].
  2. Under [Dynamic load management] > Dynamic load management - DLM Master/Slave, select the value [DLM-Slave (Master-Auto-Discovery)] if you are using dynamic IP addresses, or [DLM-Slave (Master-Fixed-IP)] if you are using fixed IP addresses.
  3. To establish a connection between the main device (master) and the subordinate device (slave), the devices must have an identical network ID. Enter the value under DLM network ID.
  4. If you are using fixed IP addresses, enter the IP address and port of the main device (master) under IP address and port of the DLM master.
  5. Under Minimum current limit value [A], enter the value that must not be undercut so that the vehicle can be charged (depending on the vehicle type).
  6. Under Current limitation [A] in case of connection failure, enter the value that should continue to be available to charge the vehicle in the event of a connection failure between the higher-level device (master) and lower-level device (slave).
  7. Click on [Save] to save the changes and [Restart].
