Updating Firmware with Update File via the User Interface

Requirements:

  • An update file with the desired firmware of the product must be available. You can download the update file, for example, from the product page under www.SMA-Solar.com.

  • You are logged in on the user interface as Installer.

Procedure:

  1. Select System menu.
  2. Select [Firmware update].
  3. Click on [Select file] and select the update file for the product.
  4. Click on Upload & Install.
  5. Follow the instructions in the dialog.
  6. Call up the user interface and check whether the current firmware version is displayed in the top right-hand corner.
