Secure Power Supply Operation

The Sunny Boy Smart Energy is equipped with a manual secure power supply function. In the event of a power outage, the inverter can continue to supply selected consumers with power from the batteries and PV modules present in the system. The loads are connected to the inverter via a socket. The secure power supply operation is started manually, if needed, via a switch connected to the inverter. The secure power supply operation can be activated when AC voltage is no longer being applied to the inverter. Switch and socket are not sold by SMA Solar Technology AG. When AC voltage is applied to the inverter again, the secure power supply operation must be deactivated manually via the switch and the loads connected to another energy source.
