Requirements for the PV cables

The following requirements apply only to the PV+ and PV- cables. For PE, note that the requirements are different.

• Conductor type: copper wire

• Conductor cross-section: 2 mm² to 6 mm²

• External outer diameter: max. 6 mm

• Nominal voltage: at least 600 V

• Insulation stripping length: 12 mm

• The cables must be designed according to the local and national guidelines for the dimensioning of lines.
