Configuring the Digital Input for Fast Stop

Qualified person

Requirements:

A switch for a fast stop must be connected to the digital input GSI.
The inverter to which the switch is connected, must be configured as System Manager.
The user interface must be open and you must be logged in as Installer or Administrator.

Procedure:

Select the product in the focus navigation.
Select the menu Configuration.
Select the menu item I/O configurations.
Select + to add a new configuration.
Select the type of the I/O channel Digital input.
Select the use for the digital input Signal fast stop.
Configure the connected switch as a break contact to ensure the safety of the system in the event of a cable break.
Select the System Manager to which the switch for the fast stop is connected.
Select the digital input.
Assign the name of the I/O channel (e.g. fast stop).
Click on [Save].
