Switching Digital Outputs Based on Thresholds

The digital outputs of connected I/O systems can be switched depending on measured values or states. In this way, heat pumps or relays, for example, can be controlled by specifying a defined output. A tolerance (hysteresis) dependent on the selected operator prevents the digital outputs from switching even with slight power fluctuations.

Operator

Tolerance (hysteresis)

Greater than or equal to (>=)

± 0.5 %

Less than or equal to (<=)

± 0.5 %

Equal to

± 5 %

The following limiting values and parameters are available:

  • Alarm in case of warning or error

  • Alarm in case of error

  • System active power

  • System reactive power

  • System active power at point of interconnection (grid feed-in)

  • System reactive power at the point of interconnection

  • Reactive power setpoint

  • Setpoint of active power limitation

  • System-wide state of charge of batteries (SOC)

  • Active access through direct selling

  • Mean or peak value of the 3 voltages at the point of interconnection (depending on activation and settings of function Q(U))

Requirements:

  • All devices in the local network must be in operation and connected to the product via an Internet router.

Procedure:

  1. Log into the user interface of the Data Manager.
  2. Select the menu item Grid management services in the menu Configuration.
  3. Select the button To the configuration in the Assigning analog outputs row.
  4. To configure the digital outputs of a connected device, select the button .
  5. Fill out the entry fields and select [Save].
