Activate licensed functions

The product is equipped with basic functions and specific features. The features can be extended with licensed functions. The licensed functions are activated in the product's user interface.

Requirements:

  • The required licensed function is included in the product or has been purchased in the SMA online store under www.SMA-Onlineshop.com.

  • The activation code received by e-mail is available.

Procedure:

  1. Purchase licensed function in SMA online store under www.SMA-Onlineshop.com.
  2. After a few minutes, you will receive a confirmation e-mail and an e-mail with an activation code. If you have not received an e-mail, check whether the e-mails have been redirected to a folder for junk mail or whether an incorrect e-mail address has been entered.
  3. Log into the user interface of the Data Manager.
  4. Select the Licensed functions menu item in the Configuration menu.
  5. Select the [Activate] button.

  6. Enter the activation code and confirm with [Activate].
  • The licensed function is activated and can be used.
