Event message:

  • DC overcurrent / DcAmpMax / EvtDcAmpMaxIn

  • Check generator

Explanation:

Overcurrent at the DC input. The inverter briefly interrupts feed-in operation. Depending on the design, irradiation or temperature conditions, this message may occur infrequently or sporadically. The inverter resumes feed-in operation as soon as the DC current is back in the permissible range.

Corrective measures:

  • If the event message is displayed frequently, ensure that the PV modules have been correctly rated and wired using Sunny Design.

  • Ensure that the technical data for the DC input of the inverter is observed.

  • Ensure that the current firmware version is installed.
