Replacing or Expanding the Battery

Qualified person

When a connected battery is replaced by a new battery or more modules are added to the battery, the battery configuration must be performed.

Procedure:

  1. Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources ( > Disconnecting the Inverter from Voltage Sources).
  2. Connect new battery (see ( > Connecting the power cable of the battery) and ( > Connecting the CAN Communication Cable)).
  3. Recommission the inverter ( > Switching the Inverter On).
  4. Open the user interface ( > Establishing a Connection to the User Interface).
  5. Log in as Installer.
  6. Start the installation assistant ( > Start the installation wizard).
  7. Click on [Save and next] for each step up to the step Battery configuration.
  8. The new battery has been automatically detected and is already configured.
  9. Select Save and next until the Summary is displayed.
  10. Check the configuration in the summary.
  11. Select Next.
  • The battery configuration is being updated. The new battery is captured.
