Configuring the active power mode for systems with manual setpoint

Requirements:

  • You are logged in on the user interface as Installer.

  • Installation assistant has been started.

Procedure:

  1. Select [Save and continue] after each step up until the step Grid management service.
  2. In the tab Active power mode set the switch Grid connection point regulation to [On].
  3. Enter the total power of the PV array in the field Nominal system power.
  4. In the drop-down list Operating mode of active power limitation at the point of interconnection, select whether active power limitation is to be performed via a fixed specification in percent or in watts.
  5. In the field Set active power limit at the point of interconnection, enter the value to which the active power at the point of interconnection is to be limited. The value must be set to 0 for zero power output.
  6. Set the Active power setpoint to [On].
  7. In the Operating mode active power setpoint drop-down list, select Manual setpoint in % or Manual setpoint in W for the manual preset and enter the respective default value in the Active power field.
  8. If the inverter itself is to control the active power at the point of interconnection, select External setpoint in the Active power default operating mode drop-down list, select Apply fallback values in the Fallback behavior drop-down list, and select No in the Grid disconnection drop-down list for active power setpoint of 0%.
