Checking the Heat and Smoke Detector of the Outdoor Version of the Battery Cabinet

Unintentional activation of the aerosol fire suppression system
If the heat detector and smoke detector trigger simultaneously, the aerosol fire suppression system will be activated. This discharges the extinguisher cartridge in the battery cabinet.
- Do not trigger the detectors simultaneously.
- In the event of a detector triggering, restart the battery cabinet to reset the alert message.
- If the aerosol fire suppression system is triggered unintentionally, switch off the battery cabinet and contact Service.
- Open the battery cabinet.
- Trigger the smoke detector (top left) using a test spray for smoke detectors.
- The LED on the smoke detector lights up red.
- Restart the battery cabinet to reset the alert message.
- Trigger the heat detector (top left) using a hot-air gun (110°C from a distance of approximately 10 cm).
- The LED on the heat detector lights up red.
- Restart the battery cabinet to reset the alert message.
- If a detector does not trigger, contact Service to arrange a replacement.
