Checking the Storz Coupling of the Outdoor Version of the Battery Cabinet

  1. Check the Storz coupling for the fire hose connection for rust and other damage. When doing so, take both sides of the door into consideration.

  2. If rust or damage is visible, remove the Storz coupling cover using a Storz coupling wrench. When doing so, hold the protective cap firmly until the cover is released.
  3. Remove rust from the cover and Storz coupling or replace them if necessary.
