Checking Electrical Connections

DANGER

Danger to life due to electric shock when live components or DC cables are touched

The DC cables connected to a battery may be live. Touching live DC cables results in death or serious injury due to electric shock.

  1. Have the inverter and the battery mounted, installed and commissioned only by qualified persons with the appropriate skills.
  2. Disconnect the system from voltage sources and make sure it cannot be reconnected before working on the device.
  3. Do not touch non-insulated parts or cables.
  4. Wear suitable personal protective equipment for all work on the product.

Maintenance work

Follow the local regulations and standards whenever performing maintenance work.

Procedure:

  1. Disconnect the inverter from voltage sources Disconnecting the Inverter from Voltage Sources).
  2. Disconnect the battery from voltage sources Disconnecting the Battery from Voltage Sources.
  3. Check and resecure the connectors on the high-voltage box.
  4. Outdoor version: Check and resecure the cables connected to the enclosure and display.
  5. Check all cables for visible damage.
  6. Check all connection points and connectors for corrosion.
