Set time for detection of communication failure

If communication between the Sunny Island and the SMA Energy Meter or the Sunny Home Manager is interrupted, the Sunny Island stops after a certain time. Both multifunction relays then switch to the idle state. As a consequence, the feed-in operation of the PV inverters is stopped.

The time until this communication failure is detected is adjustable.

Procedure:

  1. Select System & device control > Point of interconnection.
  2. Set the Communication timeout for measured value acquisition of Energy Meter at point of interconnection to a value between 1 s and 30 s (default value: 2 s).
