Adopting a Configuration from a File

Qualified person

To configure the inverter, you can adopt the configuration data from a file ( > Saving the Configuration in a File). However, the file must have the same serial number as the inverter.

Requirements:

  • Changes to grid-relevant parameters must be approved by the responsible grid operator.

  • The SMA Grid Guard code must be available. You can request the SMA Grid Guard code via the Online Service Center.

Procedure:

  1. Open the user interface ( > Establishing a connection to the user interface).
  2. Log into the user interface as an Installer ( > Logging In and Out of the User Interface).
  3. Select the menu Device Configuration.
  4. Select [Settings].
  5. In the context menu, select [Adopting the configuration from a file].
  6. Follow the instructions in the dialog.
