Control and Regulation of Grid Management Services via Digital Inputs

During the configuration of grid management services, the operating modes Open loop control and Closed loop control can be selected via digital inputs.

• Open loop control: The System Manager limits the output power to the default value, ignoring any potential self-consumption.

• Closed loop control: This operating mode can only be selected when using the inverter in combination with an energy meter. The System Manager utilizes the measurement data from the energy meter at the point of interconnection to regulate the system’s specified power output. As a result, self-consumption within the system is considered.
