Requirements on the equipment grounding conductor of the PV modules

  • The conductors must be made of solid wire, stranded wire or fine stranded wire. When using fine stranded wire, bootlace ferrules must be used.

  • Conductor type: aluminum and copper wire

  • Conductor cross section: 2.5 mm² to 25 mm² (14 AWG to 4 AWG)
