SMA Commercial Storage Solution
The SMA Commercial Storage Solution consists of the AC-coupled battery inverter Sunny Tripower Storage X, the commercial storage system (battery) SMA Commercial Storage and the energy meter SMA Commercial Energy Meter. The modular design of the components enables a flexible design or expansion. The commercial storage system is offered in two versions, each of which can be extended by additional battery modules and battery inverters. The commercial storage system functions with and without PV. A battery backup/backup application is in preparation. The commissioning and integration of other SMA components such as PV inverters, EV Chargers or sensors is done via the integrated System Manager.
The integrated energy management makes a variety of storage applications possible: increased self-consumption, peak load shaving or multiuse, which is a combination of both ( > Energy management with the System Manager).

Intelligent load and energy management keeps the system running, even in critical situations. The Sunny Island X is a robust battery inverter.
