Exchange EV Charger Business in the eMobility Portal


If a defective SMA EV Charger Business needs to be replaced in the eMobility Portal, the device may only be deactivated in the eMobility Portal and not deleted. Deleting the device in the eMobility Portal will result in data loss. The deactivation of the device and the addition of the new device is carried out by SMA Service.

Requirements:

  • The replacement device is ready for operation and has an existing Internet connection.

  • The backend in the replacement device is set up (see product manual).

Procedure:

  • Contact SMA Service and provide the following information:

  • Account name in the SMA eMobility Portal (location, account)

  • Serial number of the defective device

  • Serial number of new device

  • Information on the electrical connection (line conductors, grid voltage, fuse protection) and the connector type (type 2 with socket/fixed cable) of the new device
