DC cable requirements

Observe the following cable requirements:

  • Conductor type: copper wire
  • Maximum cable length: 30 m
  • The supplied MC4 Evo2 connector and a battery connection cable with a cross-section of 10 mm² must be used.
  • Dielectric strength: At least 800 V
  • The DC cables must be rated for the maximum battery voltage and the maximum battery current.
  • When routing in outside areas, the UV resistance and reinforced insulation must also be ensured.
