Wi-Fi

The inverter is equipped with a WLAN interface as standard. SMA Solar Technology AG recommends using Wi-Fi only for commissioning. The inverter is delivered with the WLAN interface activated as standard. If you do not want to use WLAN, you can deactivate the WLAN interface.

If Wi-Fi is to be used for the inverter or system operation, use the external antenna. SMA Solar Technology AG recommends using a wired connection (Ethernet) to the system network to ensure a stable connection and reliable control. When using a wired connection (Ethernet), the Wi-Fi interface must be disabled.

In addition, the inverter has a WPS function. The WPS function connects the inverter automatically to the network (e.g., via router).
