Register the serial numbers of the inverters and components

To update the information on the inverter with the SMA Service, the serial numbers of the components and inverter must be entered in a log and sent to service-sg-commissioning-reports@sma.de within 14 days after installing the noise-reduction accessory. SMA Service can only ensure qualitative work over the entire service life of the inverter when this data is submitted.

Procedure:

  1. Open the log for recording the serial number. For example, enter NRK-IP in the search field on the website www.SMA-Solar.com and download the PDF file.
  2. Open the door on the customer installation location of the inverter.

  3. Enter the serial number of the inverter into the log.
  4. Close the door on the customer installation location of the inverter.
  5. Enter the serial numbers of the sound absorber at the air inlet, the sound absorber at the air outlet and the air duct in the log.
  6. Save log for later contact with SMA Service.
