Disassembling the inverter roof

Requirements:

  • At least 2 people are available for disassembling the roof.

  • Endless loop straps are used.

  • The hoist is properly attached to the crane.

  • A traverse and endless loop straps are used. The endless loop straps are long enough so that the traverse does not touch the roof of the product during transport.

Procedure:

  1. Ensure that the top of the inverter is dry.

  2. On the AC side remove the 5 screws, 10 silicone washers and 10 washers for attaching the roof in the upper frame.

  3. On the DC side remove the 5 screws, 10 silicone washers and 10 washers on the top edge of the frame. To do this, open the flap on the DC side.

  4. Slightly lift the roof on both sides one after the other and place 1 endless loop strap under the roof each.
  5. Ensure that the lifting gear is attached correctly and secured against shifting.

  6. Slowly lift the traverse with the crane.
  7. Carefully set the roof down next to the inverter and then dispose of it.
  8. Protect the inverter from ambient influences such as direct rain or snow until the sound absorber has been installed. Use a tarpaulin or store the inverter in a sheltered place.
