Preparing the mounting work on the MV Power Station

If the inverter is integrated into an MV Power Station with the "Sea Freight", "Grids MVT Room" or "Grids and Rodent Protection" option, parts of the rack must be removed before disassembling the inverter roof.

Procedure:

  1. Ensure that no voltage is present on all poles on the medium-voltage side (see manual of the MV Power Station).
  2. If the MV Power Station is equipped with the "Sea Freight" option, remove the beam above the inverter from the rack (wrench AF19) and dispose of it.
  3. If the MV Power Station is equipped with the "Grids MVT Room" or "Grids and Rodent Protection" option, open the door of the protective grid on the AC side of the inverter using a square wrench.

  4. Remove the protective grid to the inverter and the attached ground strap (wrench AF13) and keep the screw material for mounting.
